Wuling Starlight PHEV: A New Dawn in Hybrid Sedans
December 6th, the Wuling Starlight PHEV officially hit the market, offering two versions to choose from – the 70km Standard Edition and the 150km Advanced Edition,the official price starts at $12500. This marks the debut of the first sedan model under SAIC General Motors’ Wuling brand, with plans for a subsequent all-electric version.
In terms of aesthetics, the Wuling Starlight PHEV adopts the latest design language of the Wuling brand. The front fascia boasts a sleek and rounded appearance, featuring a grid layout with inward-tightened dots and a through-type LED light strip. The separated LED headlights on each side add a three-dimensional touch, ensuring a distinctive and recognizable overall look.
The side profile of the Wuling Starlight PHEV is elegantly elongated, with a slightly downward-sloping roof from the B-pillar, chrome elements surrounding the side windows, and semi-hidden door handles. The design is complemented by five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, with a choice of six body colors – Starlight White, Starry Purple, Starry Green, Starry Gray, Starry Black, and Starry Brown.

The powertrain is mated to a single-speed DHT transmission and is paired with two battery options – 9.5kWh and 20.5kWh, providing pure electric ranges of 70km and 150km, respectively.
