Hongqi is a Chinese luxury car marque owned by the automaker FAW Car Company, itself a subsidiary of FAW Group. Hongqi was launched in 1959, making it the oldest Chinese passenger car marque.In Chinese, hongqi means “red flag.”Originally, Hongqi models were only for high-ranking government officials.From 2017 to 2021, the brand experienced extremely high growth, from 4702 units in 2017 to over 33,000 in 2018, over 100,000 in 2019, over 200,000 in 2020, and over 300,000 in 2021, a growth of 63 times in 4 years.

E-HS9

The Hongqi E-HS9 is an electric full-size luxury SUV made by Hongqi.The E-HS9 is available in two different performance variants. The lower-spec model features one electric motor for each axle rated at 215 hp (160 kW; 218 PS) each, with 430 hp (321 kW; 436 PS) combined. The top-trim model features a 329 hp (245 kW; 334 PS) motor for the rear axle, with a combined power of 544 hp (406 kW; 552 PS). The acceleration of the seven-passenger SUV from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) is within 5 seconds. According to Hongqi, the E-HS9 can travel approximately 300 miles (480 km) on a charge.

E-QM5

The Hongqi E-QM5 is a purpose built electric compact executive sedan made by Hongqi for online car-hailing.The E-QM5 shares the underpinnings of the Hongqi H5 gasoline-powered sedan with MacPherson struts at the front end and multi-link suspension at the rear, and dimensions of 5,040 mm/1,910 mm/1,569 mm, with a 2,990 mm wheelbase.A battery-swap-enabled version called E-QH5 was also planned.

E-HS3

The pure electric Hongqi E-HS3 are subcompact luxury SUVs manufactured by the Chinese manufacturer FAW under the Hongqi marque positioned under the Hongqi H5 mid-size sedan.The original Hongqi E-HS3 was launched in 2018 as a pure electric vehicle exclusively. Previewed by a preproduction concept during the 2018 Beijing Auto Show,there are two versions of the powertrain, one with a single 152 hp electric motor and one with two 152 hp electric motors leading to a 304 hp for the dual-motor option.
