Recently, we learned from Ideal Automobile official sources that the Ideal L6 will be launched today (April 18). The Ideal L6 adopts the family design language and is positioned as a mid-size extended-range SUV, focusing on the market under $40,000.

In terms of appearance, the Ideal L6 continues the family design language, with the front face styling similar to the L7, L8, and L9 models, including the iconic star ring headlights. In addition, the integrated near and far headlights and the through-type front bumper blend well together, extending the visual width of the front face.
Looking at the side profile, the new car has very smooth body lines, with a sloping roof and slanted D-pillar creating a sleek design effect, giving it a sporty look. In terms of the rear, the overall design of the new car is relatively simple, with three-dimensional star-ring taillights and a concave-convex tailgate, making the rear more refined and dynamic. In terms of dimensions, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4925/1960/1735mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV. The official statement indicates that the new car’s luggage compartment has a one-touch electric folding and resetting function, with a depth of over 1 meter.
In terms of interior, the new car will feature a dual-screen design and will be equipped with the 8295P chip. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with first-row seats with ten-point massages, seat ventilation/heating, in-car refrigerator, panoramic sunroof, and more. The panoramic sunroof is 1385mm long, with a light-transmitting area of 1.26 square meters, a UV blocking rate of 99.8%, and comes with an electric sunshade. The second row of the new car is equipped with electric Nappa leather seats, with one-touch folding support.
In terms of power, the Ideal L6 continues to be equipped with a range-extended hybrid system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender + front and rear dual-motor intelligent four-wheel drive system. The maximum power of the 1.5T four-cylinder range extender is 113kW, equipped with a 35.8kWh battery pack, a pure electric range of 172km, and a CLTC comprehensive range of 1390km. In addition, both versions of the Ideal L6’s power battery are lithium iron phosphate, supplied by Sunwoda and CATL respectively. In terms of chassis, the new car adopts front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension.
