Jiyue is a brand jointly created by Baidu and Geely Holding Group. The Jiyue 07 is positioned as a pure electric mid-sized car, marking the second mass-produced model from Jiyue Auto and the brand’s first sedan. Previously, the Jiyue 01 was launched, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. The Jiyue 07 continues the futuristic family design language and adopts a more streamlined fastback design. The Jiyue 07 has a fastback design with a liftable sport rear wing at the back. In detail, it features dual-mode mirrored rims ensuring a symmetrical visual effect and reportedly providing better aerodynamics. Furthermore, the car uses door handle-free electric sensor doors to further optimize its aerodynamic performance.

In terms of power, the Jiyue 07 is equipped with electric motors provided by Viridi E-Mobility Technology (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. The high-end models come with dual motors, while the standard models have a single motor, each with a peak power of 200 kW. The battery options include 71.4 kWh and 100 kWh packs, with the 71.4 kWh battery model offering a range of 660 km, and the 100 kWh battery model providing ranges of 770 km (all-wheel drive) and 880 km (rear-wheel drive) according to the CLTC cycle.
For the Jiyue 07, similar-level competitors include the Tesla Model 3, Zeekr 007, and BMW i3, indicating fierce competition in this market segment.
