Avatr is set to commence pre-sales for its fourth mass-produced model, the Avatr 06, on March 27. Positioned below the Avatr 12, this new mid-size sedan offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrain options, featuring Huawei’s QianKun intelligent driving system. The Avatr 06 continues the brand’s family design language, adopting the AVATR 2.0 design philosophy. Its unique overall shape includes a disc-wing front fascia, split light strip design, and C-shaped LED daytime running lights on both sides. The high and low beam light assemblies are cleverly integrated into the front bumper sides. Additionally, the vehicle features a Halo interactive screen in front of the windshield, enhancing its technological appeal and distinctiveness.

Soft materials such as Nappa leather, ultra-fiber suede, and birch wood are extensively used throughout the cabin, creating a strong sense of luxury. The front seats are equipped with dual zero-gravity seats, supporting electric adjustment, one-touch recline, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. They also feature headrests, with contact areas covered in perforated leather. The passenger seat includes a leg rest.
Additional features include a nano water ion air conditioner, a 25-speaker British Treasure audio system, a fragrance system, and ambient lighting.
Powertrain and Range
The Avatr 06 offers both pure electric and extended-range power systems. The pure electric variant utilizes an 800V high-voltage platform, ensuring efficient charging and impressive performance. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 252kW, providing robust power for daily driving and highway cruising. The dual-motor version features front and rear motors with outputs of 188kW and 252kW respectively, totaling 440kW, achieving excellent 0-100 km/h acceleration times. The CLTC pure electric range reaches up to 650 km, meeting the daily commuting and short to medium-distance travel needs of most consumers.
The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T engine serving as a range extender, with a rear-mounted single motor producing a maximum power of 231kW. It offers two lithium iron phosphate battery options: 31.7kWh and 45.06kWh, with pure electric ranges of 170 km and 240 km respectively, as per Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filings. The extended-range model addresses consumers’ range anxiety; when the pure electric range is insufficient, the range extender activates to generate electricity, providing continuous power. It boasts a comprehensive range exceeding 1,200 km, alleviating concerns even during long-distance travel. Additionally, in urban traffic conditions, the extended-range model can rely on pure electric driving, offering commendable fuel economy.
Huawei Intelligent Driving
A highlight of the Avatr 06 is its intelligent features. The vehicle offers an optional 192-line LiDAR and is equipped with Huawei’s QianKun intelligent driving system, comprising 27 intelligent driving sensors. This configuration forms a 360° high-redundancy fusion perception network, enhancing resistance to complex environments such as rain, fog, and varying light conditions. Huawei’s QianKun ADS 3.0 advanced intelligent driving system theoretically supports full-scenario autonomous driving. Functions like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping, and automatic parking perform stably in real-world use, effectively reducing driver workload.
