✨ Exterior Design: Refined for Pure EV Identity
The AITO M8 EV largely retains the same design as its range-extended sibling, with subtle tweaks to highlight its pure-electric nature. The closed front grille replaces chrome trims, paired with an integrated light strip that emphasizes modern EV aesthetics. Dual-lens LED matrix headlights flow naturally into the air ducts, while the honeycomb-shaped intake enriches the front profile.
Buyers can also choose the Obsidian Package, featuring a blacked-out grille and window trim, catering to those who prefer a sportier look.

📏 Dimensions & Practicality
The SUV measures 5190 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3105 mm. Its stretched body lines and flush door handles enhance aerodynamics, while a continuous waistline design reduces drag.
It comes standard with 20-inch sport wheels, with optional 21-inch blacked-out rims. A newly added electric front trunk boosts storage practicality for everyday use. Adjustable ride height and capable wading depth make the M8 EV equally at home in urban commutes or off-road excursions.

💡 Rear Styling & Lighting
The rear design echoes the front, highlighted by a ISD smart interactive tail light with matrix light sources, supporting dynamic welcome projection and gesture control. Chrome trims and a trapezoidal license plate frame add a layered, premium touch.
On top of the rear windshield, a rear solid-state LiDAR works in tandem with the roof-mounted sensor, ensuring 360° environmental perception for safer intelligent driving.

🛋 Interior & Comfort
Inside, the M8 EV features extensive premium leather finishes with three embedded displays, complemented by a massive 68-inch AR-HUD system. For rear passengers, a 32-inch retractable theater screen and one-click cinema mode transform the cabin into a luxury entertainment space.
The five-seat version offers fully electric backrest and leg support adjustment for the second row. The six-seat layout adds a zero-gravity seat on the right side, while the flat aisle design makes third-row access more convenient.
Huawei’s Cloud Cushion seats are standard, further enhancing comfort. A built-in compressor-powered fridge is also included, practical for storing drinks or fresh food.

🤖 Smart Driving & Assistance
The M8 EV is equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite, totaling 30 detection units, including LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, HD cameras, and ultrasonic radars. LiDAR units even come with a defogging system to maintain detection accuracy in challenging conditions.
In functionality, it supports fully automated “point-to-point” travel, even across toll highways, with zero driver intervention. The Automated Valet Parking (AVP) system works across a wide range of parking lots—single or multi-level—and even offers auto charging assistance, simplifying ownership.

⚡ Performance & Chassis
The SUV is built on a new 800V pure-electric architecture. The long-range version achieves 705 km CLTC range, while the AWD version offers 655 km. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes just 5.2 seconds, with a braking distance of 34.5 meters.
The chassis features Huawei’s Tuling platform, with a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension. Standard dual-chamber air suspension and continuous variable damping shocks ensure both comfort and stability across varied road conditions.
Huawei’s Drive ONE powertrain shows excellent efficiency, working in harmony with CATL’s 100 kWh battery. Even at 120 km/h highway speeds, cabin noise remains impressively low, guaranteeing a quiet and premium driving experience.

🔍 Market Positioning & Competitors
As Huawei’s pure EV flagship SUV, the AITO M8 EV differentiates itself from the range-extended version with distinct details and advanced EV-specific features.
Its main rivals include Li Auto i8 and NIO’s ONVO L90, both strong players in the large SUV market. Whether the M8 EV can establish itself as a top contender in the ¥300,000+ pure-electric SUV segment remains to be seen—but expectations are high.
