2026 Li Auto L9 Livis Overseas Infotainment System Experience
On July 17, during the launch event for the all-new Li Auto L9 in Kazakhstan, Li Auto officially unveiled its new-generation overseas infotainment system. Compared with the domestic version, the overseas system has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of language support, map navigation, and localized ecosystem integration.
Earlier this year, the Li Auto L9 received its annual model update, introducing two trim levels: Ultra and Livis.
Among them, the Livis is Li Auto’s flagship large SUV for this year. Its four Zero-Gravity seats are the core highlight of this upgrade, covering the driver’s seat, front passenger seat, and both independent second-row seats, providing the vehicle with its highest-level seating configuration. The front seats offer generous space, allowing passengers over 185 cm tall to fully recline, meeting the resting needs of users of different heights.
The powertrain, driving range, and charging system have also been upgraded. The vehicle is equipped with a 72.7 kWh 5C ultra-fast charging battery, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 420 km and a CLTC combined driving range of up to 1,650 km.
For intelligent driving assistance hardware, the new L9 Livis is equipped with two self-developed Li Auto M100 “Mahe” chips, providing a total computing power of 2,560 TOPS. The perception system features four LiDAR units, with a forward detection range of up to 300 meters.
The new overseas infotainment system first expands its language capabilities. It currently supports English, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic, meeting the basic interaction needs of users in different regions.
The vehicle’s Livis voice assistant is also deeply integrated, allowing voice control of music playback and vehicle functions. The companion mobile app has likewise been adapted for multiple languages, supporting remote vehicle control, access to basic community features, and local weather information.
For one of the most important in-car functions—navigation—the overseas infotainment system adopts a dual-map strategy, integrating both Amap and the locally popular Yandex Maps. In actual use, the maps respond very smoothly, while real-time traffic and road condition information is displayed in great detail. Both the driver and front passenger can independently operate navigation without interfering with each other.
Regarding intelligent driving assistance, the current overseas version has been confirmed to support ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LCC (Lane Centering Control). More advanced NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functionality is still under development. Intelligent parking assistance and active safety features remain consistent with the domestic version and are standard across the entire lineup.
For multimedia entertainment, the system deeply integrates the globally popular Spotify as well as the widely used local service Yandex Music. In addition to streaming music, the system also supports playing locally stored music via a USB drive. More thoughtfully, the vehicle supports independent entertainment for multiple audio zones. The driver and front passenger can each listen to different music using Bluetooth headphones, while rear passengers can simultaneously watch videos, with all seating positions supporting independent headphone connections.
In terms of connectivity, the vehicle features a built-in eSIM communication module for global internet access and provides 5G network support in local markets. Li Auto includes a certain amount of complimentary mobile data, while additional data can be purchased through official channels. The vehicle also supports connecting to external Wi-Fi networks.
Based on the information currently available, Li Auto’s overseas infotainment system is not simply a translated version of the domestic software. Instead, it has been deeply localized on top of Li Auto’s core software architecture. In the future, Li Auto plans to introduce more localized ecosystem applications and gradually bring NOA intelligent driving to overseas markets, further enhancing the product experience for international users.
